This newspaper was found by a friend doing demolition in a house in the Haight Ashbury. (sorry about the split pages, it was the only way to post it large enough to be readable)

    When I tore up the linoleum under the carpet at 2704 Pine ca. 1993, I found newspapers from the 1950s. Wish I’d kept the classifieds, which specified jobs by gender, and gave prices for apartments.
