Near where I am living is a wonderful and much used neighborhood park. It has a skate park, a toddler-size amusement park, a large assembly area, and paths where a very much traditional-style ‘promenade’ is carried out every Friday evening. (though without the watchful eyes of las abuelas chaperones) .
It has a large central plaza made of reused bricks. Many of which were made by Metropolitan Block of Canton, Ohio. I was left wondering about the course those bricks made to end up here.
